Hiya,

the more I think of it, the more I wonder if the thermostat is the part that is not working. What the thermostat does is allow cooling water to reach the outside of the piston housing to cool it. But...it will not allow water there until the motor is warm enough to give good combustion. Once that point(temperature) is reached, the thermostat will open and allow water to keep the cylinder walls cool.

If the motor is "peeing" I think you might want to really consider a new thermostat.... The impeller should be replaced as well just for general maintenance purposes, but it also helps the motor keep itself running efficiently.
