Mark, I agree, you don't "need" a tandem axle trailer for a boat that weighs in at 1400 lbs...but I think the tandem axles do look nicer and do trailer maybe just a touch better at interstate speeds...I like to go 75+ to MN!
plus you get 4 tires rather than 2 if one should blow! ; )
a 618 tiller hull w/ a single console would be one sweet ride...ranger should build that...
