Subject: RE: gas vs diesel

I have a 2003 GMC 2500HD 4x4, 6.0L, 4:10 gears, 285 75 R16 tire. I pull a 18ft Tuffy Rampage and I see about 11-12mpg (70-75mph). As much as I would like to have the extra power of a diesel, the cost of ownership isn't worth it to me. As mentioned in an earlier post, coming from a diesel you will probably be disapointed with the 6.0L, but it does a fantastic job pulling my rig. I am going back down to 265 75 R16 tires to improve handleing and performance. Good luck
