Within the last 7 days I've been quoted $12,495 for a 175hp Suzi 4-stroke plus rigging. That included an alum. prop, stainless was $325 upgrade. Bringing the total to $13,500 after tax. Was told this would be within $150 either side of quote due to estimate on rigging time.

Another place 200 miles from the above mentioned quoted me almost $15k for the same motor. This dealer quoted me $13k and change for a 175 Opti.

Need to do your homework before purchasing, one doesn't need to pay the most or the least, but there should be a competitive level where you find the balance of value in what you are getting.
