I agree with everyone else too - if the price is right - go for it. I have a 90 hp. Johnson on my 2003 1750 fish hawk. I top out at about 38-39 mph with all of the gear and two people in the boat. When I am at full speed going across the lake I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have a little bit more speed but when I do the math, more speed isn't necessary for me. The longest distance I usually drive at full speed would be about 10 miles. At my average of 35 miles per hour that would take me 17 minutes. Averaging 45 miles per hour it would take me 13.5 minutes. All things being equal the 3.5 minutes wouldn't be worth a lot of money to me. Good luck - I just bought mine last fall and don't have any complaints yet.
