While it is always a good idea to max out hp on boatsor close to it, a 90 will get you up and down the lake just fine. As long as the price is right go for it. Fishhawks take hardly any power to get them out of the hole. I have the exact same set up as jtroop, but with a stainless prop and can get 47 mph out of mine under the right conditions.
