I learned to wear a seatbelt in the 3 seconds between when my friend spun out in his Camaro, and when my head broke the windshield and my knees broke the dashboard when we slammed into a tree.

He was lucky -- he had a nice soft steering wheel to smash into, so he didn't hit the windshield nearly as hard as I did.

Considering what I see out there on the road, and the amount of deer in the areas we fish? I couldn;t imagine anyone NOT wearing a seat belt.
