Right now I am running a Explorer 1600 with a 90hp Opti on it. I switched to a stainless steel prop last summer and really like how it works. At WOT, I am about 250rpms short of max and boat scoots well. Only thing is that I have to trim the motor a long ways up once I am on plane and running. I was wondering if raising the motor up a hole would be a partial solution so I wouldn't have to trim it up so much. What are the effects when you raise your motor up a hole?
