Location: Roseau | I would think a 6 hp would be fine. I have a 6 hp on a 16 ft. dual console deep V, and use it for fall trolling. Can troll down as slow as I need and up to 6 mph. Have not thought I needed more power and have been in some pretty nasty stuff on LOTW in the fall. Yes you can hook up to the main motor with a tie bar and remove it to take the kicker off, I have one, cant rememeber the name of the tie bar though. You could also use the troll master for throttle at the console if you needed it. |
