Don't quote me, But I believe that your problem is that the X65 & X75 run on the same frequency. I think that the X85 runs on a different frequency. This would explain your problems and Jason not having problems. It could also be because of the cone "angle". As you get into deeper and deeper water the base of the cone gets larger and larger thus it is possible to overlap and have problems with the signal from one sounder showing up on the other one and vice versa. Narrower angle transducers might help. Otherwise you may be forced into shuttingone unit off when in deep water. To explain why you have problems in one lake or area and not others could simply be bottom content. Hard bottom reflects a greater more powerful signal. Thus when on hard bottom you may see interference at a much shallower depth as compared to soft bottom. Hope this helps.
