Subject: LCD Sonar Units ?

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with some advice regarding Sonar Units. I'm interested in buying a LCD Sonar Unit for the bow of my boat. I fish predominately for muskies, and mostly smaller lakes ( 100 -1000 acres), so GPS is not that big a feature for me. I've checked into two units Eagle Fish Easy 320C 3 1/2" screen, and the LowranceX67C. Both units look and specs are identical.
My question to you all is, with a limited budget of like $ 250.00 - 300.00 for a unit, which would you suggest and why? Also, regarding a Sonar with a 5" screen. Any suggestions with other avaialble units in this range? Thank again and Happy Holidays!
