Heck...the head swap alone gets you close, and it is extremely easy too...

I did my 90hp 2 stroke a couple of years ago...definitely a nice gain...obviously not anywhere near as big of a job since I only had one head and water jacket to do as compared to yours...But...given an hour or so, the swap is done... relatively cheap.

But...as you said, the extra ponies won't do too much at all... 25 hp is only going to give you a gain of maybe 1 - 2 miles per hour...

Cost vs performance gain in this case...weighs heavy on what you decide.
