I fish out of a Lund 1600 Explorer and it works awesome for me. Can fish two without any problems and 3 if needed. Have had the boat on the biggest water in the state of Minnesota and never had any worries. Worst I was in was out on Mille Lacs in 15mph winds and drove all the way across the lake. Just can't go flying wide open and have to drive sensible. Like stated above, weather can get you no matter what boat you are running. Was a 619 or 620 Ranger that got swamped out on LOTW last year during some bad weather.
