probably a blown seal. 25 hp merc, about 6 yrs old. i change the lower unit twice a year and have had water come out once or twice the last couple years between re-fills... now after draining it for the winter , have noticed leakage at the prop and even a bit around the bolts on top of the unit. motor has run like a champ since i bought it...but had a couple "bog downs" running full throttle this past fall, but the motor never died. is the seal something i can do myself or must i take it to the shop? thanks for any help.
