Yep. I've never done it, but heard of it being done, and have looked at the swing tongue conversion piece online. I think you might even be able to get one from farm and fleet.
I have a feeling it's fairly easy to do, but if you don't have some good saws and other tools I would probably take it to a metal shop to have it done. Shouldn't take a good place very long to do it I wouldn't think.
