I guess it depends some on where you want to purchase -- I've found MUCH better deals from individuals selling their boats in Fall and desparate to do so in order to avoid having to store them over the Winter -- got mine that way for a steal and it's serve me perfectly for 2 years now. Boat dealers seem to sell used boats cheaper in Spring for the reasons described above.
