For $15,000 you can get a late 90's Ranger 681, 690, or 692 in good condition. You might even be able to find a 681 with an Optimax for that price. If you're not chomping at the bit too much, browse online classifieds for a while and be ready to grab the right deal when it comes along. That's what I'd do.
