Location: Athens, Ohio		We had the head smoke on my Motorguide Brute while on Vermilion. We were running at top speed setting. Returning to the dock, we found there were two wires that crossed and were shorting out against each other. Separated them and put on some black tape and it is fine.
Take the top of the head off and look for melt around the wire / connector interface. m
