Location: nationwide | I am not sure if this will help but I had some problems with my front panel as well this summer. I can get power from the batteries to the trolling motor but it will not take a charge regardless of where the switch is put. I even purchased a 24 volt charger figuring that if I have power to the trolling motor I could charge in the 24 volt setting . . . not so. I have a new switch panel that I will change out next spring when I mount a new trolling motor on the front. I will take the whole front cap off and replace everything. Until then I slide the batteries forward, disconnect them and place a jumper wire and charge them as 24 volt.
Hope this helps . . . . probably not.
