I just got off the phone with a regional rep for a major boat company. He recomended that people with underpowered tiller rigs, might, after exhausting propping attempts, try the trim tabs or Smart Tabs as advertised in Cabelas etc., and to try an outboard hydrofoil only as a last resort. Has anyone had experience with these? Are they easy to install, and do they truly work 'automatically'?
