Location: Birch Run | Put a trolling plate on your outboard, easy to put on. Happy troller makes the best one with hinges on half of the plate that will fold up in case you forget to pull it up. Paint orange stripes on the back of the plate to make it easy to see if its up when your done using it. Plates are better for your motor, because it keeps your rpm's up while trolling to keep your 2 stroke from loading up. I have a 17ft lund with 115johnson on it, without the plate down my boat will only get down to 2.7 with the plate down 1.2. |
