Hiya,

with any internal changes to the motor, you'd be spending some big $$ for a gain of maybe 3mph. I have a 90 2 stroke and have put in carbon reeds, high performance head, and the exhaust tuner...all for a gain of 3 to maybe 4 mph depending on conditions outside.

If anything, you might gain some speed with motor height adjustment, prop change, etc. that might get you a little better...but I would not expect much. Certain props can make a boat come alive rather than being a dawg...
