I have Scotty's Rod Holders, with the flush mounts. I am having a problem with a few of them popping up when trolling with the rod tips in the water. Seems to be lure/speed sensitive. Believers and Slammer Deeps seem to happen more than other cranks do to harder vibration?. Does not happen with spinnerbaits. Also, the faster I troll, the sooner they pop up and back. This is a pain, as I have to constantly be pushing them back down.
Does this happen to anybody else? Is there a problem with the holder or flush mounts? Any suggestions?
