I am in the process of dealing with the same issue. My trim slowly died over the course of two weeks. I replace the relays, nothing. So I took the trim motor off and it worked hooked up without being in the assembly. I checked the hydrolic fluid and it was full of metal shavings so I found a used assebly without a motor. I installed it and still not dice (went up/down twice). I now have a new trim motor coming. Fun Stuff.
