Not sure what kind they put on the Crestliners from the factory, but mine have worked great so far. Obviously pounding across big waves will cause some splashing, but as far as holding a can securely (And folding out of the way when not in use), those seem like a pretty good deal to me. Check a Crest dealer, I'd imagine they have some sitting around there.
