Sean- I'll try this one more time - if the charger is the problem, it's an accident waiting to happen. Why? Can you gaurantee that the area you mounted it in is never going to get wet? If not you had better take care to ensure your safety, or the safety of anyone who may have access to the boat while the charger is plugged in. This could also include people swimming off the dock..... The same is true if someone else has access to the charger itself, i.e., kid or other family members aren't aware, i.e., don't touch the charger when it's plugged in. Guess what happens if someone get's seriously injured and/or dies? Who's responsible/liabel? I just don't want to see you or anyone else get hurt!
