Location: Iowa Great Lakes		I run mine till a week or so before ice up, I just make sure and lower the motor and let it drain at the ramp thats about it. I have had it froze up 1 or 2 times and it took awhile to thaw once in the water but no damage. I dont run my pumps, or try not to when its that cold. Nothing better than needing 3 rods to fish 1 to cast while the other 2 are thawing out
