Location: Hayward WI		I've got a 50hp Merc 2 smoke and I tried the Sta-Bil Ethanol a couple of weeks ago. My motor idles rough with the EtOH blended gas and the Sta-Bil didn't help at all, still sputters and occasionally dies when trolling. It could be the plugs but more likely the gas. When I could find straght unleaded easier last year, the motor ran much better, so it looks like I'm searching for a new gas station.
