| Been doing some looking at the Fish Hawk 1850, and went to see one again today, & took along a tape measurer to do some measuring.
They had a 2007 1850 & a 2007 1750 there.
I got to doing some measurements with both boats.
These 2 boat are alot alike in layout, more than I thought!
The 12" of length the 1850 has over the 1750 comes from 3 more inches in front fishing platform length (89" compared to 86") & 9" more length in the rear fishing platform length (24" compared to 15")
Floor measurements in both boats are exact, 60" wide x 63" long.
Side depth (both inside & outside) are exact, 27" outside depth near transom, & then narrows down to 24" outside depth at console. Both boats have maximum inside depth of 22" on lower inside seating area, & 12" depth on the fishing platforms.
Maximum width on both is 95" at the transom, and then they both narrow down to 83" imediately in front of the consoles. Subtract 12" for inside width because of the gunwall (6" each side) which makes it 71" inside width in front of console
That 89" of front deck on the 1850 (measured from the very front of the front fishing platform, not front of the boat) to the edge of the bow rod storage, is amazing for a 18-1/2' boat! That's almost 7-1/2' of front fishing deck!!!
The measurement from the front of the fishing platform to the front of the consoles is 72". Still gives ya alot of room even if ya get a double console!
Again, both boats are more similar in measurements than I thought. I really expected the front deck of the 1850 to be more than 3" longer than that of the 1750. Only noticeable thing you're really losing between these 2 boats is the 9" less of rear platform on the 1750.
Hope this is informative info for someone out there looking at both boats.
Good fishing,
