Lay the troller down flat on the bow. There is usually a ridge on the bow of the boat where the rubber matting is. That is where it should be mounted. Keep the trolling motor flat bumped right up to the the ridge. Extend the trolling motor so you have about an inch of clearence when deployed. Mark your holes and drill. You may only be able to get three bolts thru with washers and nut underneath, unless you use the isolator bolts. I used a quick release and drilled one new hole front portside on the release base so I could secure the troller with bolts and lock nuts. I don't like the isolator bolts. This motor does sit a little bit foreward on the bow compared to some models. Try to keep the trolling motor as close to center as possible. Don't have time right now to post a picture, but it's not that difficult. Just take your time.
