Bobski, my 2001 90HP carbed 4 stroke needed the carbs cleaned when it wouldn't idle for diddly. I was informed by the mechanic I should have been running quickkleen every other tank. I don't recall the specifics as it happened when I was trying to sell it and they flagged the motor for not idling well. They tried quickkleen first but ultimately had to clean the carbs. It would be worth asking about IMO.
