Location: Richland Center, WI. | Purchased a new boat in 2005 with a Mercury 90 horse 4 stroke motor on it. Always seemed hard to start. Took it in to a marina to get it checked out and the mechanic said the carbs were not syncronized and the electronic system that helps with the cold start needed work. All work was covered under warranty. Took the boat out of storage last week and decided to take it to another marina to have it checked out to get ready for some walleye action (hey, musky still closed in WI.) I was told that somehow the motor had carbs installed from a 75 horse 4 stroke motor. Anyone else ever have a problem like this? Motor and boat were 2004 model boat new in 2005. |
