I never row trolled but I have rowed enough boats in my life to know that unless the boat is designed for rowing they don't track very strait. I would think that a Jon boat would require a lot of effort to keep it from zig zagging real bad plus it's square front would not "coast" very good between oar strokes.

If Vilas county would get there head out of you know where someday and allow motor trolling it sure would make things easler and not require people to buy an extra boat to use for one application in one county.
