| Just a question for anyone in the know.....
As someone who is in the market for purchasing a new vehicle, how do you go about negotiating? I have been to many dealers looking for price quotes, but they all seem to beat around the bush as to cost and options.
I know they will all tell you to look at the invoice price, but I know that they can sell below invoice and still make a profit. Just how much room do these places really have to work with?
Currently I have been looking at Tahoes and Silverados with the 0% financing for 60 months intriguing me.
I don't need a vehicle, so if the right deal isn't there I won't take it, but I hate driving miles upon miles to a dealership to beat around the bush. I want to know their bottom line, but it is like pulling teeth to get that. Obviously they aren't going to let you know they are willing to move, so......what do you do?
Any suggestions? | |
