| As a dealer, I have been around a lot of brands and types of batteries. There are many good ones on the market. From all the ones that we handled and from all the praises and complaints we listened to. We believe the best for the money would be trojan agm. agm stands for absorbed glass mat. these are vibration and shock resistent, never need water added, and will recharge and outlast comventional batteries hands down. one drawback would be the price compared to standard lead acid types. for a group 27 agm they sell for around $200.00
