Jason, that's the nice thing about the rail mount down easters. They are easy to move the rods as you only have to push the butt of the rod up or down. The downfall is when they loosen or the rubber gets wet when they are loose, they sometimes go straight down on you if you aren't paying attention. (that makes for a giant mess if you don't see it happen). The nice thing is, you just have to tighten them up to fix that problem.

That being said, it's usually only when dragging dipsys that I have that problem.
