Shep- OK buddy- I now know why I have such a crappy hole shot & low RPM on my Skeeter at full throttle, i.e., it's propped for speed. See, I do learn something when I read your threads. Yeah, being a 60's gearhead, I'll keep it. Although the current price of gas tells me I'm better off running at even lower RPM. Strange as it seems, my daily gas consumption in is the same if I'm running & gunning or if I'm trolling all day.


BTW: How much do two (2) guy's and their gear weigh? If I were thinking a couple ToddM's, that could be a bit. Even though he looked pretty svelte at the MilW. Muskie Expo. Now, two Lee Tauchen's & a limit of 5 lures a piece might be different.
