Go with a ATS Intercooler, ATS wastegate monitor and put headers and exhaust on it. Little more cost, but you aren't doing anything to artificially modify the drivetain from the factory standpoint. I know that Ford offers a set of headers for the 6.o, and some dealers will install the Banks on-site. The ATS Wastegate housing is a replacement part, so there's no issue with that either.
I did all of the above to mine and was hitting 14 pulling a 4horse slant. (loaded) Stand alone I was easily hitting 20-22.
There's a website called FiveR, can't remember the exact addy, but it has some good info.
