Hey Sled, just having a little fun with ya, cant pull the wool over my eyes.......LOL......Anyways, you will not get 500hp with just a the $400 chip. You'll have to get the intake and exhaust package also, those diesels have to breath to make big HP........ I'm assuming you have the 6.0 powerstroke in your 05? Personally the 6.0 has plenty of HP and the only reason they chip it is to get better fuel mileage.....My buddy has an 03 1 ton with the 7.3, he went all out with the Banks total package which ran him a couple thousand installed, on a dyno he is getting 512hp!!!!! That truck will break all 4 tires loose on dry asphalt..... Also saw a chip that has an electronic dial with 3 settings on a dodge cummins that you can adjust between stock, medium, and heavy, has the dial in the dash and can adjust it on the fly. Anyone else hear of that one??????
