I also have a Crestliner 1750 with a 90hp 2-stroke....with my boat, fully loaded full of a lot of gear and one other adult in the boat....max I see is about 34-35mph and that's going by the GPS speed. I believe that's with an aluminum 17 pitch prop as well.

I'm not out there to be the fastest on the water. There's no need to be. Plus...with gas prices today....no need to really be flat out flying. Plus..the waters I predominately fish....they're smaller waters...so...no need for a bigger/faster motor.

I think my boat's motor is matched pretty good. If gas were $.87 cents a gallon again....sure...I'd want a bigger boat and a bigger motor. But....I'm cool with what I have. It gets me where I need to go...reliably...

I just wish it were a 4-stroke so it'd be quieter and cleaner...but....I'll take what I have...I'm happy with it. :shrug:
