Hi: I ran a new A-Craft TP 185 05'-06'. My boat was powered by a 90 Johnson (Suzuki) four-stroke EFI. Top speed loaded with a full load of fuel was 34 GPS. The Yamaha should be very similar. I'd plan on trying to buy a boat with Merten's Power Steering, or add it afterwards; words cannot describe how comfortable running a big tiller can be. Best of luck in your decision.
