Location: Columbus, Georgia | I have trolled with my Opti 115. You can get down to 2.5 or 3 miles per hour nicely ... but wear a gas mask. The fumes made the experience very uncomfortable for me.
The engine runs like a charm when used for anything other than trolling. Never a problem. Should be lots of kickers (used) out there right about now. I assume you could get one for just a few hundred dollars. If it runs for a season or two ... maybe that's worth it.
