I love my new Yamaha tiller, albeit I've only owned it for about 7 months. After running a 1984 yammy tiller for years, then a 2001 90 H.P. merc tiller for most of a season, I now realize how lacking many tiller handles really are/were. I put a couple hundred hours on the new motor of which most were trolling in the fall, and the VTS feature alone made me happy I chose this tiller. It seems Yamaha has set the standard for tiller handles, and I think it is great that some of the other outboard manufacturers are taking notice and following suit, offering competition and more choices. I don't have any complaints about mine as of now, and neither do my friends who own them.
