Location: New London, Wisconsin | Cowboy---I 'm not trying to be a smart*** but you signed the application for this insurance policy, right??? The time to question values of your personal property is at the time on policy inception not at the time of the loss. I doubt a lawyer will be able to do anything unless your agent forged your signature on your application. Now, a good agent would sit down with you to review your policies and make sure you are covered properly. I hope it all works out for you in the end. By sharing this experience you may have saved someone else the same type of trouble.
