Thanks guys. I am going to devise a way to keep the strap off the boat altogether. I like to cover it on longer trips as even with the rock tamers I get alot of stones inside etc. Also like to keep my gear all ready for when I get to the landing, but I guess living with or without either of the above would be better than having the rubbing going on, that is.

Old brown Tuffy?? I wish. And by the way, those are not Carhartts. That is official Ozark 'Brown Streak' gear, made especially for me, and I am still wearing it, and will until it wears out. Then, onto the Pabst pro coveralls. Already took the Ranger name-plate off the rig too. Visors are for girly men like BN.
