I have a nice cover for my 690 Tiller but the side straps seem to rub on the boat right where the they meet, and I am seeing some wear through the clear coat, being now noticeable from a fair distance. What type of material could one use to deter this type of 'rubbing' damage? Would a piece of fleece stop this, or do some of you have another material that you effectively use at boat/strap stress/rub points? Thanks in advance.
