I think you can troll down to a reasonable speed with that 7.5. It is a two stroke, so it will be louder, smoke and smell more, plus you'll have to carry a separate tank of mixed gas. Not sure what is available for props, and I'm not sure if the 6 pitch, 4 blade will fit. The 9.9 Pro Kicker trolls down to 1 bit over 1 to 1 1/2 MPH on my Tuffy 1890. I can slow it to 1/2 MPH with my two drift socks off the front cleats. Love the power tilt on the ProKicker.
