I believe you have the older 619 with the tank forward which I have heard is a much better ride than the 2002 or 03 to 06, when they moved the tank back, cause people who did not know how to drive the boat were spearing wave cause the did not know how to trim the boat out when running.

Shep if the wave were only 6" apart the bow should not even drop to allow waves to come over, unless you had a bunch of weight in front storage. They problem seems to exist when the waves are spaced out enough for the bow to start pointing down as I am coming down a wave and next wave hit the front, and it usaully 3-4 footers
