I run a 997 on the console and a 797 on the bow. I like side imaging. It will give great views of under water structure once you learn how to tune it. I like to use it for reading points, rock piles, saddles, splines, etc. I cruise through an area and mark the interesting structure on GPS and then go back and fish it. I'm always amazed at what the SI slows me that I would have easily missed.

Great for structure.
