Location: Stevens Point, WI | My boat doesn't go into storage until early December in WI and I ALWAYS have Stabil in the tank and drain the motor very well after every use. I also make sure I change the lower unit lube in early fall to make sure there is no water in there as well. Never had any problems doing these simple things. In regards to adding antifreeze to the cooling system, if there is no water in there to begin with shouldn't have to do this. I would worry about possible corrosion from the antifreeze. |
